Day 06/18 : Malham - Horton in Ribblesdale (24km)

Total distance covered so far : 155 km

Up over the top of Malham Cove, limestone pavements, disappearing rivers and chilly, foggy mountain tops with a bit of 'three points of contact, don't look down' scrambling too!

Perhaps this explains all the gates yesterday?
A stream flows right out of the bottom of the cliff!
I always thought money grew on trees!
Textbook limestone pavement
Pretty but a total nightmare to walk over!
I couldn't resist. They put one final double swing gate even here!
Malham tarn. The water leaves the tarn in a stream and makes it for a few hundred meters before the stream totally runs dry! Presumably,y it emerges a kilometre later at the bottom of the Cove? Magic!
Low clouds looking ominous
Yup! I need to get the wet gear on if I'm goin on up there
One of those mine shafts!
Top of Pen y Ghent. Would have been a great view if not so foggy
Last view of Pen y Ghent looking back
