Day 04 : Hebden Bridge to Cowling (25 km)

Total distance covered so far : 101 km

Sadly the wifi wasn't working in the pub where I had dinner so this blog is a bit abridged.

Here's the pictures from a mostly sunny day...

I'm sure the bluebells are all finished inSurrey by now

Not here though!

Gradual change in the landscape stating to become apparent

Spoke too soon....

A reservoir. A very deep reservoir.....

Here's what you get when you drain most of the water out!

It's a LOT deeper than you think. Look at the size of the buildings!

Emily had a lot to answer for. Not least making a wreck of an old farmhouse famous to the extent it is even on the map. And it had nothing to do with her story!!

It's a wreck! Not worth going out of your way to go see at all!
See that little QC code on the bottom of the panel? Zoom in and point your phone at it and see where you end up. You'll be surprised. I was!
And here's an interesting thing. A finger post written in Japanese! Never seen one of those before! Boy must the Japanese get off on Wuthering Heights! Which is actually very bizarre!

A surprisingly squishy moor to finish the day off with heart in mouth!

One final waterfall before bed!
